TBH, i don't think new players care much about the two legendaries. It is much more important to get hands on a very large percentage of the cardpool to do what these games are all about: Discovering decks, practice play and in the long run, construct of finetune decks. If this can be achieved by investing a relatively low amount of cash, i won't miss the legendaries at all (unless they are tournament staples of course, but then it only matters when i get serious).
As one can see from the title, i roped in my BP brother tcsnider to help me with the guide. His recent strong dominance on the tourney scene makes him an excellent partner to fine tune these decks.
As a side pt: the 40 card starter packs prove to be very useful, since that means I got more gold from selling the elemental contents.
I might bring in one more author for a surprise segment to compliment the decks.
90% of the decks are completed. We are looking to fine-tune them and trying to squeeze the budget as much as we can, trying to tailor the decks as much as we can to compliment each heroes' abilities and allow each new player to experience the synergy of the cards with the hero.

Looking forward to seeing what you've done for Boris.
And thanks a million times for writing these guides!

These guides will be great for me as I have been away from this game for over a year and I am not up to date with it. When will they be available Raph?
In around 6 Hrs.
At least the main decks outline will be done, I.e. the deck lists and the cards in each deck.
The write up on cards choices/synergy and how to play each deck effectively might come later. It's all in my brain and tcsnider's but we want to run it though with each other on how to present the info is a concise manner that new players can grasp without too much difficulty.

great! looking forward to this. I've been out of the game for a while and now i'm kinda lost on what the DP metagame is.
I have no idea what cards are good and what cards are not. XD
I'm really looking forward to this. I thought that I had this game worked out but after DP came out I find myself in many hopeless situations. As I only play two classes I don't know much about new 'meta' in others. Seems like a lot of things changed and new decks I see against my tested stuff are sometimes really surprising.
The decklists are out. Please see the first to third post on this thread. Now everyone can spend $19.99 and get some great cards and build some super decks to play on the Player vs Player live challenge, a.k.a Quick Match.
More to come: Basic write-ups of DP cards choices/synergy for each respective heroes.
Also, youtube videos on how to play these decks.
