Foil Effects

Foils no longer shimmer, or "glow" looks like they hanged in animation, was it meant to be the new improvements? :|

Edit: hopefully if this is a just a test for those waiting for the no foil animation option. They look just fine to me before.... please keep them the way they looked like before, Wulven. No animation = No fun.

Honestly, I found that the foil effects really disappointing after the update. They're now looking like a bunch of bleached out cards worst than the normal ones. I rather see a "disable all foil display" option for players who just don't like em. I personally wouldn't value foils highly anymore because of this new update, makes me question why I wasted so SC's on this stuff....

Please do not post any hate comments here, I will not entertain trolls or if it's nothing positive/reasonable. This are my personal views alone although I hear many others like me.

Yeah, I noticed that too about the foils. I thought it was just on my PC but since you mentioned it too, it's how it really is. Maybe they'll do some more updating to have it improved.

Well, it's cool honestly to have preferences. To me the non-shimmering makes them look kinda like a discoloured film tho.

Really??? I certainly hoped so, really wished it can be solved with the solution I suggested instead of making them look this way now. oh well.... We can only wait till the whole server issues are solved one by one then.

I've noticed the occasional shimmer of my foils during the opponents turn, but that almost makes it worse. The foil rainbow colors are too prominent and bleach out the rest of the card artwork when they aren't moving. I'd prefer the animation effect, but could live with stationary art if the shiny colors were dialed back a little bit.

I like new foils better because they were too distracting when on board. I would not mind if they would glow/shimmer in merchant/deck screens. Compromise?

Yea, like warr byrd said. Makes it barely visible sometimes to identify cards in play with a the colors going on...
