Shadow Era Tools - Deckbuilder & Card Finder

Hi Everyone,

I've taken some time and made another web-based Deckbuilder, Deck Runner, and Card Finder tool. You can find them at http://www.ShadowEraTools.com

For the moment, I'll say that these tools are in beta.

The Deckbuilder includes optional support for the new Dark Prophecies expansion. Start by choosing your hero, and then adding cards to your deck. While adding cards, you can see the total number of cards in your deck, the distribution of cards based on cost, a listing of the cards currently in the deck, and a count of Allies, Abilities, Armors, Weapons, and other Item Cards. You can copy and paste a URL from the deckbuilder to share it, or bookmark it so that you can come back to it later.

Once you have constructed a deck, you can use the Deck Runner tool to see how the deck draws. I can't guarantee that the shuffling works the same as it does in-game, but it might give you an idea of what to expect.

The Card Finder let's you search for cards based on Set, Faction, Class, Rarity, Card Type, and optionally a keyword.

Hopefully you find these tools useful! Let me know if you have any trouble with them, as they are brand new and may still have some minor issues. Only thing to note is that the deckbuilder will not work in Internet Explorer 8 (If you're still using this, it might time for a new browser!

I really like it...I opened it in my Ipad and the cards are way too biting wish there is like more cards possible on the screen.. Just wondering is it possible to incorporate a "save deck" option like pandevmonium's deck builder?

Thanks for the feedback Jo3yb0i, I agree about the card size on the iPad (and also on phone browsers) - I'll work on some enhancements to optimize the display for that purpose.

Re: saving decks - Just bookmark your deck (or copy the url) on either the edit screen or the view screen. You can come back to your deck at any time or share the deck with others.

For the Deck Runner, I would suggest making the "Initial Draw" only six cards, since that's what the first player gets.

Also, check the coding, I may have only tried 10-15 draws but when all of them had at least two copies of one card, and sometimes up to all 3 or 4 copies, in a 50 card deck, either that's really bad luck or a shuffle bug.
