With the new hero changes, this is definitely one of my favorite new cards. Just about every shadow deck SHOULD have at least 2 of these in their arsenal. And combined with a few Shadowspawn cards in the deck, it essentially lets shadow players control the use of shadow energy during play. Quite Useful imo.

too useful; it's an auto-include in almost every shadow deck and I don't think cards should be auto-includes. You get too many of those and decks all start looking alike with minor tweaks. SE isn't there yet, but let's not go down the path...

Retreat and Shadow font both made neutral. Both cards are too impacting on the game state to not be neutral.

Please start a new treat with exactly this suggestion, so that more people will see that nerfing is not necessary here.

I fail to see how giving every deck access to it suddenly makes it fair.

I will be honest with my opinion. Shadowfont is far away from being overpowered. 4Ressources+ the card itself for 3 SE is more than fair.
Surely u can use ur ability more often that way but on the other side for 4 ressources u could have played a lot of cards and increased ur boardpresence. As a result the player is forced to make choices.
Furthermore people on this forum all claim shadowfont = a 4se ability---> heh? Shadowfont+natural se regeneration of ur heroe= an instant 4 se ability, pls dont make a card look more op than it actually is.
I dont know which player(human fanboy, nerf fettishist etc.) started this stupid rage. Shadowfont is a good+ balanced card, which enables u to save up military power ("often at the cost of 1 turn") in order to release it later in the game. This fact doesnt make it op.

If u are assuming more SE use for certain heroes (which will costs them valuable boardpresence) puts other heroes at an disadventage, then lets demand identical drawengines for all heroes as well. Because honestly if u have to rely on bazaar, and bad santa, while certain other heroes have a nearly perfect drawengine in their cardpool smth. is not right.

I agree with you.And imho it is a good thing to keep heavy differences between the two factions in the game.Giving Shadow SE gain and Human SE waste/control would be a good thing;but it cant be done with Shadow Font (OP) and Radiant Sunlight (not that good...).
