    Tidal Wave

    Ya I'm sure this one has probly been talked about before. It's such a strong card..(atleast supernova hurts your opponent too) Without this card do you think preists are still as good? Finally why is it automatic death without any number like 6 or whatever?

    I'm not a preist user so I don't know much except from getting my board wiped clean by them...

    Ok so I'm assuming there's no reason for the lack of numerical damage, and instead just being automatic death.

    Tidal wave kills all allies regardless of their health unless an ally has the holy shield attachment or protected by celestial armour.

    And like you said, tidal wave is a strong card, so priests naturally would get seriously nerfed not having this card

    I have tidal wave sleeves too! It's very intimidating!

    Taking tidal wave from priests would make them unviable.

    First of all. Cards that are on the Live Server are fix.
    They will not be removed and they will not be changed anymore.
    (at least until Wulven starts to ban cards one day)

    Tidal Wave is a strong board reset. However it has high card cost, it kills also your own allies and it has no other side effect (like nova -> 5 hero damage).

    The way how priest are played at the moment depend a lot on this card, so removing it would make priest, how we know them, unplayable.

    I belive having a non conditional board wipe is a fantastic thing for any card game and luckily having both of them (nova and wave) cost 5 makes it fairly easy to play around. Of course if you just straight banned the card or never played you would be at a disadvantage. dont be too said though, outside of retreat and jasmine they dont have alot of creature control. frankly if I six for one you wave thats your fault for not playing around it. there are plenty of powerful cards in the game and I personally think a card like lightning strike is more harmful for the game then tidal wave is!

    I have taken a tidal wave from priests before with a NP and kept it so it would make them unviable and I won.

    I'm bad with names, but I play the priest dude who has the 5 cost "all enemy allies take 4 damage" special. My strategy is that I play a lot of low-cost weenies and buff them / speed the opponent so I have 3-4 allies out by the time my opponent has 5/6 Mana. This is kind of a cheap tactic, and if a player is attempting to play beefy Allies, or go "weapon", I typically have them beat before they have the resources to do anything.

    In this regard, I hate Tidal Wave. But I understand it, and it balances the game a touch. Would I make the cost a little higher? Maybe 6? Sure. but I'm bias.
