What I meant is, those 5 are probably the best non-class-specfic ally control cards in SE.

And as a result, even week heroes such as Ter, Logan

and Baduruu can be built into control experts, not to mention strong heroes such as Zaladar, Banebow

and Majiya

What is going on the human side? Retreat!

becomes less reliable, so does Raven

. Jasmine

will be vulnerable even with Aeon

I think humans have just as many awesome allies. Also I think the humans got the better end of the deal out of CotC. Overall I think its pretty balanced

The ability to deal damage to hero and/or ally outside of combat. Or in other words, built-in spells which allow you to control like a mage without using a mage.

Human allies are stronger because they have strong 3cc control cards like Jas, Seductress, shadow have strong 5 cc cards but what's the point if you lost control by t5? Hence some cards that allow them to keep up.

Fully agree. I was not saying Shadow is stronger than Human, per se.

My point is that, the DT has deliberately create asymmetry between Shadow and Human, for flavor perhaps. And asymmetry is a lot harder to balance since it is prone to overcompensate and/or undercompensate.
