DP: Weenie Rush is Baaaaack :D

I got beat by another player using a similar deck (albeit a 50+ card deck) so I decided to give it a try. I've whittled mine down to 43 cards. The deck works decently well. It definitely has some flaws, but it's really fun when it works!

    1x Zaladar

    4x Spark
    4x Flare
    3x Fire Snake
    3x Hellsteed
    3x Rotling
    3x Twisted Familiar
    3x Ironhide Karash

    3x Ascendant of the Horde
    4x Bad Santa
    3x Bloodlust
    2x Energy Discharge
    3x Shriek of Vengeance
    3x Shadow Font

I'm sure Mindless Ferocity, Bloodthirsty, and Aura of Retribution have some place in this deck, but I haven't found space for them yet :/

**Note: I'm thinking of swapping out Ironhide Karesh for Brutalis and adding some Mindless Ferocity just to deal with potential trouble situations going second. What do you guys think?

    wheres the firepower?
You cannot even kill a gargoyle without losing half of your allies.

You need to be able to kill stuff that your opponent drops without losing your allies... or your rush will fail horrible.

With Ascendant of the Horde out, Gargoyle only does 1 damage, so it can't really kill your allies. That plus Zaladar's ability and you can actually deal with one.

Oh and the firepower? 5 allies + Bloodlust = +10 damage

Yup, played a similar elementalis deck, and had some spectacular wins.

Also you get so many allies out so early, that you can ignore enemy allies and just race.

There's also a new one turn buff that gives you ambush and let's you ignore stealth...that is really solid in this type of deck especially vs moonstalker and weapons decks. You can just ignore them and keep attacking.

I played against PPP deck in QM and didn't think it was effective. Probably because I was using Banebow while going first.

I'm sure if you went first, things may be a bit more different.... But it also means that the deck is great going first, meh going second. In that sense I would rather play an aggro Eladwen rush-burn deck.

You also had allies that favor going first as well because they grow. Bloodthirsty-Ironhide Karash and Death Collector. But you're right, Banebow is a tough fight due to his ability to negate defenses. Against most weapon decks this deck pretty much owns. It takes too long to set up before you're almost dead.

The whole point of a really early rush deck is to simply kill the opponent. No board, no control, no nothing, simply... kill the hero.

It's quite hard to do though... Ok it's like impossible to do but hey we can always hope.

Well, 4 Spark + 4 Flare can work wonders... IF you have a decent late game.

It's a component of a successful deck, not the core of one.
