I've had it turn games more often than win games faster.

Also, the presence of the card in the pool and opponent's fear of it helps you to not lose because they don't usually hit you with their hardest stuff.

I think we have differing ideas of a losing position. Board in contention is not a losing position, and Mind Control can give you the advantage. However if your opponent has two allies to your none (a losing position because you have no board presence), Mind Control will not swing the tide unless you can back it up with an ally, which is usually turn 8 at the earliest, which comes back to my tempo loss point.

However as the contentious issue seems to be the "win-more" statement, ill take it out.

Hi there, thanks for your interesting article.

Do you think a mill/stall zaladar deck can be competitive?
I wanted to try this temporal disturbance card, but I have big troubles against mages and their problematic spells (fireball, lighting,...).
I just play furion and shadow knights as allies, so all spells go directly on my hero. I don't know how to counter that.

Workable yes. Competitive not really at the moment. You can use Infinity Core to cycle your allies constantly and gain health that way. Also consider conversion so you get a double hit of heal with Infinity Core. If you can outlast you'll win, but its a style of deck that's still in its development stages.

As I say while Zal can do anything, his real strength is beatdown.

I'm having a hard time imagining a scenario with zaladar where you're keeping the board clear and stalling the game, but still rellying on decking as your win condition. You're almost always going to also be doing lots of ability / mind control damage to the opponent, not to mention allies to maintain board control.

I suppose you could intentionally choose to maintain board control while not damaging the opponent, but that's an obnoxious, gloating way to play.

I should like to add: this hero is Tier 1 for meltdown (along with Banebow.) 3 damage spread against two peeps or peep/hero is superb for the varient.
    Decks

    The BOSS
    Countdown
The Rubber Stamp/Legions of the Light
    Silence

I'm gonna have my cake, and shove it so hard down your Hero's throat that they choke on it too.
