Thanks for sharing busti.
@iClipse
As far as I know there are some good match ups of Victor and apart from those he is bad. I remember someone saying (think it was on our guild forum) that Victor is good against Moonstalker to their surprise. The reason being he has tools to ignore its stealth. Not even talking about Grundler. The other stuff like his ability and arrows/traps. Most of the mages is no trouble for him as well.
@busti
I know you are a good player. I'm not trying to take away anything from your play. As you said he seems to be bad against warriors and probably more others.
I'm a casual player. Clearly, I do not have much say in talking about what hero is weak or strong but these are my opinions coming from my QM experience. Also, even though I'm a casual player, I'm playing this game more than a year now (although with not so much experience with hunters apart from solo and allied Gwen, res d Baduruu, solo Baduruu, allied Baduruu, a couple different Banebow, an attempt for Victor on CotC). So, I know what I'm talking about mostly. This last part wasn't to answer anyone in particular.

Just was inspired based on this, loaded up my victor deck, made a few changes and got 3 wins in a row vs priest and warrior.
The key to victor, as it has always been, is to be efficient with cards, you don't need a consistent draw engine, because you reuse cards and the ones that you don't reuse, you make sure can take a beating (e.g. sandworms), or have multiple purposes (e.g., Lily).
My old deck was half decent vs most heroes except Rogues, because Ill Gotten Gains helps ignore traps. Now artful squire gives some decent artifact removal, while A Legend Rises gives an easy answer to crippling blow. Grundler's double gives a decent draw engine, which combined with survivalist is more than adequate vs an ally heavy deck. Vs non-ally decks, rely on tough allies and bows to deal enough damage / wear down weapons. Also use gravedigger's cloak to use up all that free shadow energy.
Victor has never been as bad as people think. He just requires finesse and planning.
Here's my deck if anyone's interested ...note this hasn't been through much playtesting, so I'm sure it could be improved.
3 x Lily
4 x Sandworm
3 x Poison Arrow
2 x Flaming Arrow
4 x death trap
2 x Gravedigger's cloak
2 x Spelleater Bands
4 x Soul Seeker
3 x Artful Squire
2 x Gunther
4 x Survivalist
3 x A legend rises
3 x Grundler's Double
