Tournaments divided per time zone

Hi all, sorry if this post should have posted somewhere else ^^'

Was noticing that mostly games are organized at 00:00 gmt+0 and i was wondering what was the reason, i mean why people dont orginize tournament for example at 10:00 am or 5:00 pm?
I am having some problems with this time, mostly because i have got to play at late night and i think that also other players are having my same problem..

So.. Why we dont write/orginize tournament divided per timezone? Ie. [america] - TJ pop up bla bla bla. 00:00 gmt +0
[europe] - bla bla bla 15:00 gmt +0. And so on?

Yea it's kinda stupid as idea, but firstly with these tournament of ours timezone will be found more easily amd secondly we will allow more players to play tournament.
What do u think? Somebody else would like more different timezone tournament?

From what I can see, 00:00 GMT+0 is a good time for both america -4/-5 GMT and Asia +8 GMT (early morning) and Europe (midnight).

If you want a tournament with a specific time, maybe you can host one? Its not that hard to host a tournament, especially since your prize are sponsored by Wulven. Just make a standard hero lock or deck lock 8man or 16-man tournament (standard or popup)

And from your OP I assume you are referring to Popups. Why not join regular tournaments then? You can always arrange a suitable play time with your opponent.

It's because I've got to study and cant stay awayke until 3-4:00 am to join tournaments and unfortunately most of the tpurnaments are orginized for that time..
Anyway ty for the suggestion, i will orginize one next time

I think its best to join standard tournaments then, i.e. non-popups.

Standard takes place over a couple of days. You have to send PMs to your opponents and organise a day and time to play it.

Popups happen at a bang-on time and continue until you are eliminated or win.

And I live in GMT +0 and it says this thread was created at 12:06 am

And you said you can't make 00:00 popups?

And if you are American, it should be MUCH easier for you...

Standard tournaments are like those we usually see, and it lasts for a few weeks at least. Eg:

Popups are tournaments that are played live, i.e. if you win, you immediately go through to the next round and fight your next opponent (will end in a few hours). Eg:

Since you cannot join the popups, due to unavailability of time, just join standard tournaments where you have 4-6days per round (depending on tournament rules) to get your game done. Yes, popup's experience may be different as compared to standard tournaments, but its still better than nothing.
And popup demands more of your time, i.e. you only join if you have 3-4 hours to spare.

I think they are mostly at that time due to demand, but also it's based on the availability of someone to run them.

I'm sure someone in European timezone would run one about 8pm GMT if they knew there was demand.
