Do they remove the negative effects of attachments like crippling blow as well as normal status effects (frozen, poisoned, base strength reduced to 0 etc.)

The answer would be no. Here's some quotes that address basically the same issue: (CB=Crippling Blow)

I tried using rejuvenating ritual on cb but it wouldnt allow me.

CB is not a negative effect, as defined by the rulebook, and its effect is also being sustained by the attachment. So even if you tried it on Captured Prey, which causes disabled while attached, it wouldn't work either because the attachment would still be there causing the disabled.

Also note that reduction of attack value or base attack value isn't considered as a negative effect, and hence can't be restored with negative effect removal.
