    Dark prophecies release date?

Hi, was wandering how the testing was going, and whether the dev team have been able to finalize a release date yet? (are we talking weeks or months?)

Yes-I am impatient, but only because I'm looking forward to it!

It will be ready when it's ready. Kyle was hopeful that they would get all the bugs squashed this week, but given some of the oddballs that popped up with the latest patch, I don't think it's going to happen. And then, once all the bugs are gone, we'll still have to wait on the Apple approval process, which sometimes takes a while.
Congratulations to Preybird for designing my Avatar!

We're close, but bugs are still being found and squished, and the card market and DP Meltdown need to be included before it is considered ready to submit to Apple.

Check back in a week and see where we've got to.

That would be a nice dream, but it won't be reality, unfortunately.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to test these features thoroughly on the test server before making them live? Previous experience has shown that every time an untested feature is released live, the result tends to be subpar. Recent examples include the rating decay system, the setup of the Meltdown format and its weekly competition, and the drag-and-drop-system. Fallacies in these features have generated a lot of frustration and complaints, and in worst cases, has probably alienated potential paying customers. If major balance changes are made on the live server without players understanding that the new cards they bought are subject to modifications, this too can lead to serious dissatisfaction. (I remember reading "I'm quitting Shadow Era"-style of posts the last time it happened.)

Since the release of the core set, Wulven has been able to afford to wait almost a year before giving public access to test the new cards. Can't Wulven then afford to take the time to polish the expansion to perfection before releasing it live? Especially DP Meltdown would benefit of a thorough testing process, since it's the place where the most elusive card combinations and hence, bugs, will be found.

I hope that this time, Wulven can learn from past mistakes instead of repeating them.
