Morbid Acolyte vs. Kairos Doombringer

I was playing a match (balasador vs. Godly) where I had Morbid Acolyte in play. My opponent summoned Kairos Doombringer so I activated Morbid Acolyte's ability (target ally loses all passive abilities until the start of your next turn) to target Kairos. But when I attacked his hero with my allies, Kairos still attacked them back.

Doesn't Morbid Acolyte's ability have an effect on Kairos?

It is supposed to remove all passives.But I think Layarian Diplomat and Morbid Acolyte is still bugged (It is listed on the bug list)
