Makes me wonder though. If I set a Snare Trap against Potl, will it still -1 my hero's shadow energy? Witnesses anyone?

Actually I don't know why SF should look so strange the +1 damage is useful not just the tempo gain. Also just because you use SF on a turn does not mean you must use your ability that turn.

Just got a chance to try this out now that DP is live, only played a few games but HOLY CRAP this deck is fun and versatile - a little Ally-light, but thats kind of necessary to maximize the double. Had some issues being able to race against Book of Curses, but doubt It sees as much use in comp as it does around ~240. Have to keep playing with it, glad to see Baduruu finally has some strong options.
Whats the logic behind Wotf in an ally lite deck? A fake?
Kakamong do you mind if we share this deck on Scholars of the Shadows? As you can all our decks are outdated due to the new expansion and allowing us to use this deck saves us one heartache. Would be very kind of you and I'm sure our visitors will appreciate as well.

Not OP, but I've played this deck a lot. WotF is AMAZING with sac. lamb (turning a draw-2 into a draw-3 or a draw-3 into a draw-4). Also, since you want to only ever have 1 ally out until you have established board control (to get a draw with the Double), the WotF makes it a bit more of a headache for the opponent to knock them out.
That said, I've considered replacing it - possibly with Spelleaters (since I've found huge issues vs Mages).
