    Killing Spree

Can somebody tell me what this card does?

"ex037 Killing Spree Warrior Ability 2 If your hero killed an ally during combat this turn, your hero is readied."

First of all killed during combat won't work with Boris so I can imagine this card targeted for Amber Rain or Logan Stone Breaker , but I'm not sure how to strategize Killing Spree with these cards because I'm not sure what "readied" means

As far as I can tell, Readied means that your exhausted hero (or possibly ally in future expansions) becomes available for actions again. It's similar to haste, but it activates on cards already in play, not cards entering play.

Logan makes a good case for use of this card. You can play Jeweler's Dream, use his ability and kill a creature. With the 2 generated resources from Jeweler's dream you can then play another killing spree (if you have one) and kill another ally in one hit. Pretty snazzy.

Yes, "readied" basically means your hero which has already attacked and is exhausted becomes unexhausted and can attack again. I'm not entirely sure why they bothered coming up with a new word like "readied" instead of just saying unexhausted, but maybe that would have been too confusing if there were ever ways to exhaust heroes by means other than attacking (if there ever wound up being something like a Smoke Screen for warriors which would exhaust your hero without attacking).

Does seem like a pretty cool card though, especially for Logan.

Because the "readied" hero can only attack and not use his ability, I guess.

The question now is, does the card discard after the 2nd kill or last till the end of the turn ?

It's an instant ability, so it doesn't last till end of turn.
Wanna kill another ally, gotta play another killing spree.
