To clarify: There are no Neutral Allies in this set, but there are Shadow Allies, Human Allies and then some class-specific allies.

The idea is that if you play an ally and the opponent can't kill it, you're winning. You can play allies with large amounts of health, stealth, or other tricks that help it survive. You could also play an ally that does something when played, so that even if they do kill it, you still have some form of advantage. Playing an ally that only does something if it survives (and does nothing to ensure its survival) is foolish. Either it won't die, in which case you're winning just as much as a tankier ally except with worse odds of survival, or it does die, in which case you were better off playing an ally with immediate value.

Put life infusion on this, 5/10 ally. Woot. Just thought it's be funny.

Energy Discharge... I mean, is not like the passive ability of SS, that allow you to heal damage IF you killed in combat the ally (in example, if an enemy cast MC on my Puwen, with SS armed, puwen dies NOT in combat but for the MC so I can't heal 3 damage for him) but if he kill an ally with Energy Discharge, means that he have effectively killed an ally.. so.. I'll gain the SE in case of ED with at least an ally on the enemy board?

I think they sort of worded this card incorrectly. I think it should read, "when it kills an ally in combat", not just "when it kills an ally", just so it's absolutely clear as to the condition for gaining the SE. Unless they meant for this guy to make your hero gain SE if it kills an enemy ally in any other way as well.

MistahBoweh is correct on why this card isn't likely to be competitive. Even if a competitive deck has room for a 5 drop that doesn't survive a turn very well or have any immediate effects, Plasma Behemoth is a far better choice if Elemental decks (and therefore Mind Control) are a big part of the meta.

The only good reason to design such a weak ally is if there are some solid tribal elemental cards planned for the future.
