Saturday Night Bash #21 Sunday March 3rd, not 4th. My bad >.>

Hey All! This popup will follow the same rules as the last few have, still on the live server for this week.

Participants: 16 players +4 reserved. Note: the purpose of this popup is for people to play and have fun, not necessarily to be super competitive. For this reason I'll be accepting everyone who enters, not just rounding to the first 8 or 16. This means some people will get a bye in the first round and be at an "advantage", which I think is preferable to excluding latecomers

Gameplay: Best of 3 (single elimination)

Registration: By posting your IGN in this thread

Rules:

1. Hero lock throughout the tournament.

2. Deck lock in games 1 and 2 of each best of 3. Players are free to add or remove cards from their deck in game 3 of the round (if a game 3 is needed). Each person must use the same decklist in games 1 and 2 of each round (i.e. the deck you use in games 1 and 2 of the first best of three must be same decklist you use in games 1 and 2 of the next best of 3 if you advance). Heroes may not be changed in game 3. The number of cards does not have to be conserved between games 1/2 and game 3 (if you have a 40 card deck in games 1 and 2 you may have a 43 card deck in game 3 if you wish).

3. Brackets will be generated randomly.

4. Results should be reported through the IRC channel.

5. If a player gets disconnected or has their client freeze during a game, that game will count against them. A final decision will be made based on whose name is in green in the Shadow Era challenge window. Exceptions may be made if both players agree to it.

6. The starting player is randomly chosen for games 1 and 3 (if needed). The player who went first in game 1 will go second in game 2. In the case of a draw or sync error the game will be replayed with the same player going first.

7. Any disputes in the game please consult the organizer.

This weeks featured game was taken from the finals and was played by TJ Nataku X (Amber

) and AA1 BiAsair (Majiya

). Both players manage to pull off some miraculous plays, showcasing wonderfully the strengths of each deck and the skill of those piloting them.

I would also recommend keeping an eye on the relative size of each players graveyard throughout the match, it's kind of cool. Who needs a library when the graveyard's right there!

Hey Drizzl, I believe you made a mistake at the title. March 4th is a Monday. I believe you were refering to March 3rd.

Yup, that is correct. SNB is always Saturday Night in America, hence its called "Saturday Night Bash"

So their Saturday night is our Sunday morning.
