    Competitive Boris Deck

Alright, so after some tweaking, my Boris deck has come to this:

    1 Boris Skullcrusher

    4 Blake Windrunner
    4 Aldon The Brave
    4 Sandra Trueblade
    4 Aeon Stormcaller

1 War Banner (or 3 Valiant Defender)
    1 Enrage
    1 The King's Pride
    4 Blood Frenzy

    4 Crippling Blow
    2 Valiant Defender

I think "The King's Pride" is a little excessive, and just a second Enrage for backup would be a better idea. But the card is too fun looking, therefore, too tempting.

What makes this deck work is the standard lineup: Blake, Aldon, Sandra.

pride is really good. jewelers dream is strong.

i dont like shield bash at all. also valiant defender is a MUST. even without portal in the meta.

lose board control, you can play it + allies and you can attack them and they can't attack your guys. combined with aeon, they can't attack at all. and it's a must vs the many hero weapon decks (gwen and amber) so you are attacking them (they do double damage when they attack but not defend) and reducing the durability on their weapon.

    and yeah, boris is awesome.

He's certainly competitive. My test deck has some differences, but it's probably the best option right now. Which means I don't want to play it, except against it, to beat it. I was just in a discussion with another board member. Are there ever going to be unranked rooms for games with friends?

I like to construct some meta decks and run some tests, but I have to keep playing random decks on "Quick Game". HOPING I get to see something close.

I have mixed feelings about Valiant Defender, but I've thought through a few scenarios, and I think it does give a better edge, although you really need a turn4/5 Valiant Defender + Blake (t5 if you were Sandra'd upon going second).

My list is very similar, but I found myself more comfortable with -1 aeon, -1 aldon, +2 Puwen (because I don't want to miss my cost 2 spell, never).
Also I like more 3 valiant and no war banner...
King's Pride... I found it useful, maybe it is not a 100% needed card but in some circumstances can make the difference.

Jeweler's Dream is a great accelerator.

Opinions are like assholes: everybody has one. That doesn't mean the Internet gives a shit about yours.
Facts, on the other hand, are the same for everyone. This is why the Internet may listen to you once in a while if you use facts.

I don't know about a great accelerator. It's an accelerator where no others are available, which makes it strong in and of itself, but particularly if you're going second then your 4-drop being something that has little effect on the board can be suicide.

I am not a big fan of Jeweler's Dream either, usually there are better cards to play and the accelerator is not so useful at that cost and so late.

Most of time I don't play Jeweler's Dream on turn 4. Turn 4 is Sandra, then on turn 5 is Jeweler's Dream + War Banner (or any card with cost 3 or 2), turn 6 Aeon + cost 2 card.
Jeweler's Dream on turn 5 still make a big difference.
