Human mages may have healing opportunities but Shadow Mages lack healing power... hmmm. I guess you don't need to heal when you can get Brutal minotaurs and Shadow Knights on the field while burning your opponent down with them fire balls!

hybrid decks of mages are very hard to play. but straight-forward mage strategies like death racing and board control is easy to play and pretty much comes down to having good draws and good saccing. health will always be an issue with mages but i guess every hero / deck have weaknesses. and more cards will be released in the near future so how about waiting? and just enjoy the game for now.

Lol, folks, you need to learn the difference between heal and health gain.
Potl can raise hero's health above his max health (but not above 40), heal can only heal damage. That indicated btw that no one really plays HD xD
So no, you can't go above 26 with HD, only with Potl.
