Yes you have to meet your opponent in irc first before setting up custom game. Channel : #shadowera.

This is not a pop up tourney, hence there is no need to meet inside a specific room/chan.

You PM your opponent, set up an appointment with each other using gmt + 0 timings. Ie. sunday, gmt + 0, 2pm.

Meet at #shadowera channel at the said timings and set up the games. The irc provides a means for easy instant communications, unlike pm.
