For PC? There's really no excuse ever to lock the frame-rate at all, unless your game has some odd connection between game logic and what is happening on the screen, which is usually bad coding overall.

I can guess that in the case of Shadow Era, it's to maintain one client across all platforms.
Funny you should resurrect this now. The PC client is now 60fps

Suppose I can say "about time". Really does wonders to the smoothness of the entire game as I kept talking about. Damn well noticeable and improves the speed of my play.

Too bad they destroyed the quality of the music in the process.

    Fix one thing, break another..

    Time for a new thread.
