Back in my day, in 1.2.4, them Elementals were the most overpowered things around. You had that Mind Control, which took control of an ally, permanently, and that Transference, which drew from ye opponent's hand. And then you had those mirror Zaladar vs Zaladar matches which sometimes involved chain MCs over a single Plasma Behemoth. And that Aeon glitch. If you were lucky enough to Mind Control an AEON, you'd have permanent protector up for the rest of the match, even if your Aeon died. And protector in those days made it so that your non-protector allies and your HERO couldn't be targeted by attacks while a protector was on the board. Plus, Aeon wasn't Unique back then and had 4 attack. Ye Eternal Renewal also went into the graveyard instead of being exiled back in those days, so you could create an infinite deck with 2 Eternal Renewals. Ah, those good ol' days...

I preferred 1.24 by a lot. At least you could try and play all the heroes. And if you played Gwen, you could stack 2 aimed shot onto your soul seeker which gave it 8 attack since that's what Gwen's ability was, then double tap the elementalis with night prowler and steal his eternal renewal
Also, if you used gravediggers cloak straight after they did it the first time, you could steal it from the graveyard. It was lots of fun trolling the loopers.
