I'm a candidate for this but unfortunately for me, I have no interesting story to provide.

I'll give one anyway...

I first got my Ipad way back in September 2010. Once I got it, I installed and played Battle for Wesnoth constantly for several months and it wasn't until I wanted a bit more variety that I finally decided to search for other games. Because I liked Battle for Wesnoth so much, I chose to look for games by the same developer, Kyle Poole. I think there was only 3 games under his name then (and now), one of them being Shadow Era. I was never interested in Magic or any of the TCGs that were available back then so I didn't really know what they were about. I don't think I even read the summary of the game but just installed it to try it out since it was free anyway.

I thought it was some sort of RPG given how the art was and chose Amber because who doesn't love a dual wielding female warrior? I selected a full name, Danae Warwind, for my "character" as I always do when playing RPG games and have regretted it ever since. Another regret I had back then was that I had chosen a hero that required a weapon but no weapons were available for that release yet! Even with all the bugs and the "unbalanced" sets back then, I still enjoyed the game. It took me a while to find out that there was a forum for the game but once I did, boy did my work productivity go down!
