Hosting a tournament to help promote my new website Scholars of the Shadows. Here are the details and information for the tournament...
Participant : 16 players +4 reserves
Gameplay : Best of 3 (single elimination)
Registration : By posting your IGN in this thread
Here are the rules:
1. Hero and deck lock throughout the tournament.
2. All participants must join the #tournament IRC channel 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Players will be replaced if they are 5 minutes late (02:05 GMT+0) after the tournament start.
3. Brackets will be generated randomly.
4. Results should be reported through the IRC channel.
5. If a player gets disconnected or has their client freeze during a game, that game will count against them. A final decision will be made based on whose name is in green in the Shadow Era challenge window. Exceptions may be made if both players agree to it.
6. The starting player is randomly chosen for games 1 and 3 (if needed). The player who went first in game 1 will go second in game 2. In the case of a draw or sync error the game will be replayed with the same player going first.
7. Any disputes in the game please consult the organizer.
