    Protector Hierarchy?

    Hi there,

I have just witness a match where Aeon and Birgette are both on board (same player's).

But the opponent can cast Lightning Strike and hit the both of them. I assume this is not a bug and that a Protector cannot protect another Protector?

    Please clarify, thanks.

    That is true.

Protector's have no hierarchy. They are all at the same level. So when more than one's on the board on same side, opponent can target all of them.
I believe it is designed to be like that.

Protector works as some kind of a layer. Everyone in that layer... are in that layer. Targetable if 1, 2 or more.

Shorter answer: Protectors only protect non-protector allies ("allies without protector").
