If I use a deck with Eladwen as a hero, then after Round 1, before Round 2 starts, I get good boosters and decided to use Amber instead and sent you the decklist for Amber. This means my Round 2 I will be using an Amber correct?

Anyone calculated how many matches you can afford to lose and still make top 16, assuming 128 players? Since it's just 1pt per won game, we're probably looking for about 14 out of a possible 21 pts, right?

I built a little swiss round simulator with Nahar's rules (3,2,1,0 points) and came up with these results you should take with a grain of salt:

After 100 iterations of a 7 rounds, 128 players Swiss tournament:
Player 15 (the last player in) had a score of 14 11 times and a score of 13 89 times. (out of 100)
Player 16 (the last player cut) had a score of 14 5 times and a score of 13 95 times. (out of 100)

A 13 point score ranked as high as 9th but 14 points never ranked lower than 17th (and as high as 4th).
12 points only cracked the top 20 twice.

So 15 points looks golden, 14 points should be good, 13 points will depend on tiebreakers, 12 points won't go.

DISCLAIMER: I think my code works but I haven't really tested it either. All players had a 50-50 shot at every individual game.

No, buddy, it's hero lock through all Swiss, so you need to keep hero you chosed before Round 1 until the end of Swiss stage.

Altough i usually don't like this kind of calcs, since it makes ppl make a lot of calculations prior to the end of the tourney... like "oh, i only have 3 points now, i can't make it, i'll stop playing..."...

But then again, most of them would probbly do the calcs, sooner or later, anyway, so...
