Don't just grind against the AI!

If you're a new player, you might feel intimidated going head-to-head with others on the quick match function.
It alright to keep grinding the AI, but I seriously recommend throwing yourself into the deep end of the swimming pool after knowing what your deck does!

Ratings are reset every season, so don't worry! If you suck, don't worry, no one will have proof of that the next season! And I guarantee, there's no better way to improve than to play against other people. Best get started thickening your hide with battle scars whilst you're new!

If you can spot play mistakes the AI makes, you're getting too old to stay in the nest! Go QM!

Disclaimer: If you suffer from bad wifi, by all means play the AI. Nothing to be gained by DC-ing, at least grinding gets some gold and xp (crystals)

I would recommend going to IRC at #shadowera which is on freenode. There you can have an advice as well as practice games in a friendly atmosphere.

Agreed with SoT, play AI to get a feel of your deck, i.e. T1 cast what, T2, T3, T4 etc. Once you get the hang of it, go to the Challenge tab and hit Quick Game.

If you win, you get 400xp and 80gold, with ratings too. Better rewards as compared to AI.

Only other time you would want to play AI is to collect a few hundred $ for a specific card you need in your deck.

Exactly this! And there is no need to be afraid of losing, it helps you develop your play as long as you are able to identify some of the mistakes you made.

I wouldn't say I'm new, I just left the game for a reasonably longtime. You know what I even forgot what the name of this game was so I had to search up on google 'tcg games like Magic: The Gathering' and I felt bad because I really loved this game, I still do. I've bben grinding all over them AI for the gold and crystals to build a strong Majiya deck. To be honest I almost have a Phobia for losing. I'm on a 100% win streak in QM, 2 out of 2 all the way!

Its a trading card game tho. Your bound to loss eventually. Sometimes its simply just the luck of the draw. Just like with anything involving cards.

Haha, I know that feeling only too well by myself. And the more I win the less I want to play

But if you don't try you don't learn and your loss/win ratio won't become positiv in the end. One need to have the right mindset and get used to stress. In the end is the threat of losing what makes winning rewarding in the first place, winning has to mean something.

It's irrational to have fear of even trying and I think that awareness is what helps to overcome it in the end. And one should always dare to be ambitious
