The browser version is an incredible strain on the eyes for people with high-resolution monitors. With 4K around the corner, it's insulting that the browser version is so tiny. But ofc, that's designed for smart devices, isn't it?

If I play SE on big monitor I just zoom in so that I can actually read the cards if I have to. Most browsers have that internally, if not you get an add-on to do that.

Big monitors =/= large resolution.

What are you talking about zooming in via the browser? It's a unity engine game, you can't zoom in with your browser.

Even playing at 1920x1200 I have to bring the cards in front of the camera so I can read them because of the way the game is designed; they are almost unreadable otherwise.

You know that you can go fullscreen on web version, right?

On Firefox, I'm using an add-on called Zoom Page to zoom in and out either with mouse from top right or Ctrl+mouse wheel. It zooms in the whole page but only that tab so other tabs are not affected from it. Other browsers I use all have zooming as an internal feature.

Also, resolution is not affected in my experience. It seems to look the same. No pixelation as I zoom. I use 1920x1080 monitor. Another thing is I don't think it's possible to read the cards without zooming the card (in-game, not via browser). As you play, you won't need to zoom in them every time to read them because you'll have them memorized and a glance at the artwork will tell what the card does.
