One thing has to be said: the character running away doesnt seem to have the power to be a 5cc creature... which messes with the card text. :P

hmm.. As much as I like the fact that there will be more hunter traps, I dont think this card will see much play..

i kind of like this card at first glance. it will either be a decent trade (i spend 3cc and draw a card, you spend 5cc and accomplish nothing), or my opponent must just never play a fatty again.

the only issue is that my opponent gets to decide when it triggers, as with all traps. so they can still play a fatty when it is convenient for them. the cantrip effect is actually really useful for someone like Victor. also they do not know if it is a death trap or this new card, so maybe that helps. it can definitely be played around by a good opponent, but i think i like this card. it seems balanced, and a good inclusion in victor for the cantrip effect.

Victor can benefit more from this card imo than banebow.
banebow will benefit too since it can screw up portal decks and weenies don't last long against him anyway.

It is good to have more than 1 playable trap. Now players will finally not know what the trap card is.

Good to have one other trap that costs 3cc, now we just need one that also costs 2cc!
