    "The Armored Protector"

    Hi...

I would like a little feedback on this deck I've been having ideas about. It's called "The Armored Protector" and is a ally-based Boris deck.

The main idea is to wave off any early rushes in order to get an Armored Sandworm in play and then on the following turn attach Warrior Training to this hardnecked dude - and thereby making him the perfect shield to hide other allies behind!!! From then on it's simple - drop your allies behind the wall of worm and boost them with Aeon and King's Pride.

The deck in it's current form is as listed:

    Hero: 1
    Boris Skullcrusher

    Allies: 17
    3 x Aldon the Brave
3 x Priest of the Light
    3 x Marshland Sentinel
    2 x Tainted Oracle
    4 x Armored Sandworm
    2 x Aeon Stormcaller

    Abilities: 11
    4 x Crippling Blow
    4 x Retreat
    3 x Smashing Blow

    Attachments: 9
    3 x Warrior Training
    4 x Blood Frenzy
    1 x Rampage
    1 x Enrage

    Items: 2
    2 x The King's Pride

    Deck size: 40

So that's it... What do you guys think? Good or bad deck, could it be better?

Looking forward to reading your responses!

    Best regards

If you have warrior training, why bother with aeon? Just focus on the lower cc allies. Too many protectors = no use.

Inversely, you could always give reinforced armor to aeon. Haha.

Only 6 3cc? That's not good, i would replace the MS by Jasmine for sure. And put 3 Raven and 3 SW instead of 4 SW and 2 Aeon, but that's just the way i played my Amber the last version ;P.

I know it's kind of a ally-thin deck but I need all the retreats and Crippling Blows to counter any rush or deck sweep my opponent might throw at me. Also I find Aeon useful because if the proteced sandworms is removed another Big Protector is ready to take it's place! I do not feel Raven is right for this deck. The sandworms are hard to kill and when they're backed up or followed by Aeon and KP, now that's where the magic happens.

But the deck is still new so I'm still learning and sure, there's room for improvement. Exept when facing the waves of destruction hurled by the holy Priests. That's a sure defeat!

I've thought about playing Armored sandworm + warrior training. I think there's a reason almost no one does, because most decks have a way of dealing with him. Humans can retreat it, rouges can assassinate, mages can freeze it, any preist worth his salt plays 4 TW, hunters might struggle. It seems like a powerful combo though.. can anyone say why this doesn't work? If it did you would see it being played

Yes, you specified the reasons. Also Aeon is so much better. It's a single card with protector and cool ability built in if opponent retreats it you don't lose a card (attachment).

Erika is roughly no good against mages... And there's a lot of mages walking the QM these days :-)

But hey, that's the game! Maybe the expansion will favour the mages less than the other classes.

Anyway, the Sandworm is perfect for warrior training if it wasn't for all those retreats, assissisnations, Tidal waves, mind controls etc. as stated earlier in this post!

In my experience playing this type of deck you'll loose more frequently when you pass the 250 ratings... Sometimes the mix of cards is right and then it's pure joy and so much fun playing this deck!

Although that combo is just "cute" and isn't really competitive, you should try adding a couple reinforced armors. Lol.

Also, anybody know how to create a signature?
