New rating system

There's this "upcoming" major feature: http://dev.wulven.com:8080/browse/SE-251
Wulven are working on it since a lot of time, according to logs, but there's still no trace of it on any new version. Card sleeves and drag&drop are nice, but I also think that renewing the rating system could make the game far more enjoyable by lots of players.
Now I'm stuck at a point where I'll play sometimes to avoid rating decay but not much more, because it's not that fun to go up&down (more down than up of course ) with the actual system.
We are human beings, we can still play for fun, but we also want to get rewarded. And how much joy can bring me gaining 1-2 rating points (if not zero sometimes) for every win? Why not getting prompted "Congrats, your recent record is 12-3, you're promoted to All Stars League" or "Nice job, your record is 1-16, welcome to Trashcan Division" instead?

Yeah, we're now at the point where the system has enough "confidence" in our rankings to essentially lock us in to wherever we are.

That being said, even if the rating system doesn't change immediately, a rating reset would be nice

Don't worry new rating sys has been in the works for almost 2 years. With that delay I sure it will be perfect

Diablo 3 was in development for a little more than 10 years IIRC. Color me pessimistic.

Yes, but their developers had monetisation in mind when they designed the game, Shadow Era is different! It will be different! I'm sure! Right? Right?
