This isn't one.
The only chance for shadow to present some competition to t2 brutalis is shadow puwen. But I think it's not going to happen anytime soon. If Flayer was at 2 health he could compete with brut quite well, but this one is just meh. It's worse than Brut in early game, it's useless in late game, well at least you can kill him and get your 2 resources back, but I would prefer to not spend them on him to begin with.

What are the strategies? The only strategy I can think of is using him for resource acceleration in mid game, but I don't think it is worth while for that.U dont need to love it, but I sure do

The problem is that SE gameplay is so clutch that I feel if I don't play certain cards on certain turns I just won't win. There is easier to come back with one decks than with another ones still.
But my point is that shadow has no option of a good t2 drop for some shadow heroes. Because Brut is no good for them, they have no direct damage to combo with him.
