    Meltdown bug: no score increase

    Game type: Meltdown
    Players: Chepis vs Shadaba
    Date/time: November 6th, around 3:20 UTC
    Bug: no increase in Meltdown score after a Victory due to opponent leaving

    I just finished a meltdown game (Chepis vs Shadaba). I reckon my opponent left rather than quitting, because I got a 'Victory' after spending some time in his/her sacrifice phase. I did receive XP and gold, but - alas - my meltdown score did not increase!

    I play meltdown for fun, but also to increase my score. Naturally, this bug should be fixed eventually, but I also wonder if it is possible to get some compensation for the 'lost' meltdown score, since this translates quite directly into lost gold when the week is over. (I understand if this turns out to be completely infeasible, but please let me know either way.)

    This is not the first time this bug occurred. It happened at least once before during this week, but it might have happened more often without me noticing. If I counted correctly, I should now have a score of either (10 wins)*30 + (7 losses)*10 = 370 or (9 wins)*30 + (6 losses)*10 = 330 (for two games I am not sure whether they were part of this week, or past week; the history only shows they were 6 days ago). Instead, I have a score of 290.

    Just updating my report with the suggested format.

    Description: No Meltdown score increase when opponent leaves game in Meltdown, even the game was long enough to receive XP and Gold (which, indeed, were received).
    Platform: 2012 MacBook Air, Mac Os 10.8.1 (Mountain Lion)
    Version: 1.612
    Steps to reproduce: Start a Meltdown game, play for enough turns to pass the 'not long enough' stage, have opponent leave during (or before) his/her sacrifice phase. I do not know if the issues occurs every time, depends on the precise time the opponent leaves, etc.

    This has happened at least twice this week to me too (the last time just a few minutes ago--I came here to report it). The opposing player left the game late enough that I still got gold and experience, but no increase in Meltdown score. Very frustrating.

    I too had a similar bug.

    Description: meltdown score failed to increase after opponent disconnection
    platform: android
    version 1.612
    steps to reproduce: opposing player loses due to timeout. Difficult to tell exactly which step (either sacrifice or first main) the opponent was when he left. Got double xp and double Gold. Not sure if this is compensation for the meltdown score not rising.

    I sent an email to support about this on Nov. 13 after I got this bug twice in a row. No response.

    The only thing I saw in common with those games is opponent quit midgame (but late enough that I got XP/gold, but no meltdown points).

    Quit playing meltdown and skipped a week because of it. Just started playing again cause of the extra 1MM, but encountered it again. Annoying.
