Our foreign policy decisions directly affect all of our allies, and especially our enemies.
So they have a say in who the Commander in Chief of the Armed forces is?

I don't think they should be able to vote or provide financial support to either candidate, but I do think they are invested in the result in some way, yes. I would be very interested in the United States elections if I lived in another country.

I don't mind those from other countries voicing their opinions on online forums or what not.

The President is also Commander in Chief. That's just one of the titles for the position.

I like how people think that their opinion matters when in USA there are only few people from every state get to vote.

However I don't believe in elections even if every citizen can vote. It's all about big numbers and easy to fake. Because it's the biased side that counts votes (government) but if you think about it there is no unbiased side to count those votes.

Democracy is such a BS. Glorified, mendacious, obnoxious.

In truth, a lot of people "get" to vote. Enough in my state vote that they have to shut everything down. The lines are LONG too.

Anyways, as for being concerned about other nations?

I certainly am. But much to my dismay, most news agencies don't even publicize that there's an election going on.

No sense of superiority here. Just plain old "the news won't publish it, so I have to work to find it. Therefore, I don't have the time to work to find it. Therefore, I am oblivious."

Seriously. You guys from other countries are a*holes, just going on and assuming americans are smug pricks. It ticks me off. Sure, some of us are. But many, many more of us would be interested in your nation... *IF* it wasn't so freaking HARD to find any news about your country!

It depends on a news source, GS. If you chose to read Cosmopolitan for news you less likely to find anything about elections in other countries there. But if you listen to BBC for example, they usually tend to announce such things (at least for major countries).

That's the thing. I DO watch bbc, and usually they are short snippets.

Nothing like how extensive your countries' is of usa. Hell, they don't even do a translated debate session, etc. Its just "this guy won. Things might be better for them. Yay."

Like... what? I'm supposed to believe that's the whole story?

Then you damned foreigners come in and say "oh, he's just an american. He thinks he's superior to us, that's why he doesn't know anything"

You people are just as bad, if not worse!
