Looks like it is possible to make a profit at lower tier, if you win 100% of your games

    Oh cool.

Ps: on my iPad the reply button covers jackpot earnings wording/numbers. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes thank you Wulven! I made Tier 2 and made a profit 2,500 so that was cool. Now try for tier 1! Good luck everyone!

    UPDATE:-

I was wrong in my initial conclusion; it is possible to make a profit even at tier 5. For example, kentuequi played and won 3 matches, and got a payout of 543. The payout plus the normal gold win per games, gives him a profit of 63 gold. Similarly, Preybird2 played 4 and won 4 games, and he would have got a profit of 84 gold.

What this means is that a good meltdown player will be able to gain a profit regardless of the number of games played. The more games he played, the higher his profit. Also, if you play more games, you have a greater margin of error because you can get a profit with a decent win-loss ratio of 65%. If you play very little games, you will need to have a near 100% winning record to get a profit.

Good skills can only do so much.

The luck in draft is crucial IMO.

The skills required will plateau. Everyone's going to be levelled after a brief time since limited deck building skills are needed.

Tl; dr. It will be increasingly hard for anyone to make more money as the weeks go by.

I am glad to have done it all now.

I agree. Towards the end of the meltdown tourney, i observed that the players were getting better in their decision making/ choice of cards. The first-mover advantage is decreasing by the day as players learnt how best to play meltdown.

Granted I didnt do well, its much funner playing a limited format. With gold so easy to earn, and with almost an unlimited amount of SC thanks to all my physical orders
i am playing SE much more than I was without the new limited play offering. Now we just need some expansion cards.

    Thanks!
