Maybe also an in game announcement that QM season 6 has ended and that the winner has gained the spot and the mini round-robin for #2 to #5 is underway and that the same format (ie 2 spots) will be provided for the Season 7 top players from #1 to #5.

Also maybe, the in game announcement can direct players to the newly-revamped forums for more information on WC to create more interest in SE.

The great SE community is one of the attractions and strengths of SE.

I whole heartedly agree with this. As I am a complete noob to SE, it took me about 2 weeks to realize what a thriving community this game had. I usually play mobile and I kinda assumed that this game was like a lot of other mobile games, small group of highly dedicated players with most people stopping by to play for a while then getting bored and moving on. An in game announcement of some sort leading to the forums or announcing big up coming tournies would be great for new people to see just how big and involved the community is. I didnt even know there were world championships until I saw an Iclipse forum post wih the WC in his sig. I think letting everybody that plays the game know about the qualifiers/WC's/other big events via in-game messages would bring more people nto the forums and the active community.

Also, as a side note, are there any streams / video hubs of the qualifiers and prior WC's? I would love to be able to watch the big timers bust each other up.

I'm so pumped. Championships are almost here! Although I know I can not take part in the event, I hope a majority of the matches are streamed so I can watch some magnificent plays and decision making.
