Playing Just For Fun

After some chatting in the IRC channel the other day, I wanted to ask you all a fun question:

What card(s) from Dark Prophecies are you guys enjoying playing the most, even if you're not winning as much when you play them?

Lingering Essence and Divine Connection. But I'm barely winning with those.

Well, I usually only have fun with stuff that wins. I'd love to make a Gwen drck work that isn't solo and isn't rush, but haven't found a viable deck build. I tried running it, but then lost an agonizing game versus a 60 card Elementalis, so I stopped trying :-p

Other than that, just making Priests actually work is pretty fun

combo ghostmaker + magma jackal and all other synergetic allies. This is very inefficient right now but those are fun combo.

bloodthirsty because you can create a monster and not be subject to a 2-for-1 removal as you are anyways cantrippy.
A legend rise for the same reason, you can use it on a crippled ally and gain card advantage from it instead of being subject to 2-for-1 removal.

kairos i love to play cause he is a tank and steadfast is underrated.

votzian order, with potl and seductress is allready fun and i guess with more allies of this gendra it can only become more fun.

Morphic armor, haha this one is funny AND efficient!

ressource acceleration like toughtful investment i'd like to play too but are not yet efficient.

Finaly, spectral sabre is my favorite card from DP because it allows for a ton of flexibility, it is a tech card and yet is never a dead draw, i love that. I could say the same about artful squire but he is less awesome than sabre.

Anyone enjoying using Loest's Burden, Madelines Scepter, or Punishers Gauntlets?

Haven't bumped into those much on the live server yet, but I can't wait to :-)

I haven't seen any people playing Loest's Burden, Madelain's Scepter, or Punisher's Gauntlets yet, would like to see someone use them and make them work.

And I second busti's opinion about Spectral Sabre. Really flexible card. And Vozitian Orders is also a really fun card, and really useful when combined with certain allies.

Punisher's Gauntlets are BEASTS! I've had some fun with those in an Amber deck, I think.

I made a Trap to Bountiful Victor deck with Survivalist and Bounty Hunter.

Morphic Armor and the deck/graveyard manipulators are pretty great for Elementals.

Hell, I've even had fun using Layarian Diplomat at an opportune moment to smooth-talk the Legendary boss into retirement, in my only encounter with him.
