Cheaper yes. But this guy can't be retreated, removed by direct damage spells or disabled. One of the reasons I like using sandworm in my rogue decks is because I'm pretty sure they're going to be staying there a while and I can make use of them for assassination. This guy would also be good to have with Kurt. For those who actually use Kurt.

Technically all kills are done by dealing damage. If you MC a MD for example, the owner of MC would take 1 damage. Same as a Tidal Wave. Assassination should also be handled as it is the hero performing a kill imo, not the ally that is exhausted as part of the requirement to take effect.

Edit: Assassination does seem to be the exception. Although it is a hero ability and would normally work as I described, it specifically says that the exhausted ally performs the kill. So that would make him targetable. So, good point.
