Tournament for players NEW to tournaments 2 (T4PN2T #2)

Hi, everyone!

This tournament is for those of you who are new to Shadow Era and / or do not feel confident enough to participate in regular tournaments.


REQUIREMENTS:

1. You need to have registered on the forums from 2012-01-01 to 2012-10-16.
2. You need to have a low rating (1-249), no alternative accounts from recognized players are allowed (A1, ETC, TJ, etc.).
3. You need to be able to meet the tournament's SCHEDULE.
4. 40 card decks (hero included) as minimum.


REWARDS:

1. First place wins 1000 SC.
2. Second place gets 500 SC.
3. The tournament is sponsored by Wulven!


RULES:

1. Fairness above all.
2. This is a standard Bo3 hero-lock tournament (for the 2nd game the other player who didn't go 1st in game 1 goes first, both players will have to restart the game until the correct player starts, 3rd game is random start again if required, and whoever wins 2 games proceeds to the next round) with decks locked for each round.
3. To apply for the tournament you need to post your In-Game name.
4. The first 16 players eligible to participate will join the tournament (the rest will be put on the reserve list).
5. I'll work in this NOT as a permanent checker of all the games, but as an intervention guy. Meaning that I will be a referee, should that be required by one of the participants of the game in question.
6. A sync error will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
7. A frozen game will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
8. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless BOTH players agree to replay or a player concedes.
9. Being unable to comply results in replacement by a reserve player in Round 1 and auto-loss on further stages (unless you have a reeaally good reason for that and PM it to me in good time)!

EDIT: Actually, I may not meet the requirements since I just joined the forums today. I started playing shadow era 2 weeks ago, and didn't know forum needs a different account from game account. Question: what if my rating exceeds 249 before the tourney? I think it'd be a pain if I couldn't play SE if I wanted to keep those rating below 249. I'm hovering around 230 and if I play till 249 I don't wanna stop or lose on purpose.

Any suggestions?
