    randomness in physical cards

seems to be that when taking an opponents cards with items like night prowler, it always takes the card on the left and works its way over. is this random? how do you decide randomness while playing the physical game with things like this as well as rabid bite and gravedigger's cloak?

    Heya,

Yes Night Prowler is random. In the physical game, you can determine these random card effects by assigning numbers to them and then rolling a dice. For example, lets say your opponent has 3 cards in hand and you trigger your Night Prowler. You could then assign the first card 1-2, the second card 3-4, and the third card 5-6 and roll a six-sided dice.

    Hope that helps!

A more practical way to do it with cards like Night Prowler is to shuffle your hand, and then let your opponent blindly pick a card. This is much simpler than Mojumbo's method, and serves the same purpose just as well.

You will of course still need to roll dice with cards like Rabid Bite, since in-play allies cannot be shuffled.
