Thoughts and Inputs...

For starters, I feel it is necessary to state that this is my fist TCG and it has a real good hook to keep a person interested... I've been playing for about 2.5 weeks now and would like some input on my current deck that I am using as I don't necessarily feel it is good enough to get a higher rating. I made three decks but the main one I use is the Eladwen Frostmire deck... Deck is as follows:

3x Aldon the Brave
3x Priest of the Light

4x Lightning Strike
3x Tome of Knowledge

2x Honored Dead

Any helpful input would be nice as I am trying to get up there in regards to my rating...

IMO, Portal is more suited with Majiya, Eladwen can't use it as well as her, so, you might as well replace it with some Jasmines (IMO you should play 4 of her). She can help stall some key allies of your opponent while you gain more SE, cards and resources to deal with it later, or if you just can't be bothered with a Sandworm.

If you're curious on this matter, playing 41 cards in this deck won't reduce your chances of getting certain cards that much when you have lots of draw cards.

I would remove the Honored Dead, it will disrupt some tempo.

I would make it 40 cards by -2 HD and +1 Puwen. -1 TO, and bump the ToK to 4 cards.

Also agreed with Wicktoria on the Jasmine.

Thanks for the tips... I'll have to try Jasmine in this deck since it does seem her strengths would be more useful. I have noticed that portal doesn't really come of any use with my current deck so it usually ends up becoming a resource when drawn early in the game.
