    Human Mill

I've got to say I've been a fan of experimenting with mill decks since it seems this latest set has gotten a lot of options for that. However it seems humans have absolutely zero mill options since the best card for competitive mill decks (all hope is lost) is only available to shadow. I personally have a few decks I'd love to have such a card in. I'm not saying it should be neutral (wouldn't fit well flavor wise) but I would like to see some options open up for some tight human mill decks. Similar to how shadow has more of a chance to rush with the release of some new haste allies. I know some don't like mill decks, but given how wulven practically tailor built a hero around it, its fair to say its a part of this game. Any thoughts on what kind of card could be implemented to make a human mill deck? Any plans with the release of the fourth set?

    Well, you have:
    Scythe of Fate
    Crystal Shards
    Dark Revelations
    Darkforged Knife

Elementals seem to be the only class other geared for mill for whatever reason. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Nearly every card listed was a neutral card and still relied on enormous deck sizes. The real ace to me is all hope is lost which let's you run a consistent 40 card deck and still mill. To be fair I'm not saying humans can't mill, just that they suck compared to shadow. Once you get them down to 0 you still have to hit their health. With shadow they basically have an auto win when opponent is at zero cards.

I doubt Shadow can do a 40 card mill... except Praxix of course.

I am a newbie to the game.

Very interested in working on mill decks. Always enjoyed these in Magic.

I figured with the little knowledge i have that I had to look Elemental for milling.

Here's a very basic strategy for Praxix:
    T1: Aldmor Ascetic
    T2: Darkforged Knife/Crystal Shards
    T3: Ally/Reverberate
T4: Ability/Stardust Extractor (Triggers Knife now)

Support cards you can use are:
Helmet of Seymeht - Returning Knife for more discard
Redux Channel - Go straight for mill or use its second function to seed the opponent's deck for your ability
Wave Collapse - Weaken a threat and trigger Reverberate

Just, uh, don't use Ascetic unless you are going second and have Knife in hand. Ideally you want other ways to trigger Knife other than Extractor/Ascetic, so Shadow Font could prove useful.

depending on the matchup and playstyle, Shadow Mann's Monster Garth deck can play like a stall deck...
