DISLAIMER:
From this tournament forth Randomizer is entering the next cycle, which means an entirely new scheme of play - so read the rules carefully!
We think we've climbed so high
Up all the backs we've condemned
We face no consequence
This is the beginning of the end

REQUIREMENTS:
1. You need to have registered on the forums in September 2012 or earlier.
2. You need to be able to meet the tournament's SCHEDULE.
3. 40 card decks (hero included) as minimum.
REWARDS:
1. First place wins 1000 SC.
2. Second place gets 500 SC.
3. The tournament is sponsored by Wulven!
4. The winner gets an invitation to participate in Randomizer 9 (but will have have to skip the Randomizers before that).
RULES:
1. Fairness above all.
2. This is a hero-lock double elimination tournament, you are not allowed to change your hero between rounds.
3. Each hero can be chosen by 1 player only (first come, first serve basis).
4. Games are played on the Bo1 basis.
5. To apply for the tournament you need to select a hero that you intend to use from the list below (NOTE rule #3).
6. Pair-ups for each round will be random (based on the certain principles to be disclosed after the tournament concludes).
7. The first 16 players eligible to participate will join the tournament (the rest will be put on the reserve list).
8. As the tournament's organizer I reserve the right to be the 16th player as well as a reserve player for certain heroes.
9. I'll work in this NOT as a permanent checker of all the games, but as an intervention guy. Meaning that I will be a referee, should that be required by one of the participants of the game in question.
A. A sync error will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
B. A frozen game will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
C. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless BOTH players agree to replay or a player concedes.
D. Being unable to comply results in replacement by a reserve player in Round 1 (& Round 2 for the upper brackets) and auto-loss on further stages (unless you have a reeaally good reason for that and PM it to me in good time)!
E. All the players that intend to play their games on the last day for Round 1 MUST report the scheduled time of play (or state that they're unable to reach their respective opponents), otherwise the participants of such games will be replaced by reserve players or those I find on IRC (with the signed up reserve players having an advantage over the rest)!
F. All the players in the upper brackets that intend to play their games on the last day for Round 2 MUST report the scheduled time of play (or state that they're unable to reach their respective opponents), otherwise the participants of such games will be replaced by reserve players or those I find on IRC (with the signed up reserve players having an advantage over the rest) that win in a mirror Bo1 game against other reserve players for the same spot!

A word of advice: you might want to check the pair-ups for the next round on the day following the deadline for the previous round to be on the safe side!
NOTE: the schedule might be updated (e.g., if everyone finishes their games sooner).
SPECIAL POWERS:
1. The selected participants of the previous Randomizers are entitled to special powers in Randomizer 5.
2. Top-1 from the first 9 participants on the list gets Revenge option to be used 1 time throughout the tournament only - having lost a single game, he can replay it switching turns, if he wins it, he then has to play another game against his opponent (as in Bo3) with a random player to go first.
3. The next top-3 from the list get Rematch option to be used 1 time throughout the tournament only - having lost a single game, they can replay it with a random player going first.
4. Every participant of the previous Randomizers has a Randomizer index calculated for them, the influencing factors include - number of Randomizers played, number of games played, number of rounds played, number of games won, extra bonuses to those playing the same hero (+1 if you played a particular hero more than once, +2 if you only played the same hero) and for hosting Randomizers (+1 for each tournament)!
5. When using either Revenge or Rematch option, both players are deck-locked!
