EP + Aeon + HS

What happens if you have Earthen Protector out With an Aeon and you cast Holy Shield on the Earthen Protector and then your allies does something to kill your Aeon?

Since Holy Shield doesn't let EP get killed, does he die anyway to revive Aeon or what happens?

Also same scenario if Tidal Wave is played?

Aeon can be replaced with any other hero for this example.

Your answer is written on the text of Earthen Protector:

"When a friendly ally is killed while Earthen Protector is alive and can be damaged, that ally is returned to play with +2 base attack and +2 health, and Earthen Protector is killed."

Since Holy shield prevents Earthen Protector from all damage in your example, his effect is not triggered while under the effect of Holy Shield.
