Ice and fire damage to Paladin of Unaxio and your hero is reduced by 1.

It means ice/fire damage to the ally is reduced by 1. (eg 4 becomes 3)
It also means ice/fire damage to your hero is reduced by 1. (eg 4 becomes 3)

It does *not* mean "if your ally takes ice/fire damage your hero loses 1 health" or something like that... Maybe in ESL broken english it might mean that, but not in this case

May I propose this as the proper wording then?:

"Ice/Fire damage to Paladin of Unaxio and your hero are reduced by 1"

The reason for slashy is due to too many "and"s in that sentence. It could work with two ands, but it seems tacky to me.

Niz was referring to the fact that Paladin has a very similar ability to Jericho, but for cheaper. Jericho still has some advantage, however, in that he can remove a Warrior's Enrage.

Good point, I forgot beneficial attachments to the enemy hero.

@Danae: When I first read it I thought of a Healing Touch without the healing part. But, that card does specifically mention attachments separately from negative effects. So your right, not the same exactly.

Would have made a nice Priest ally.

In my opinion, i think the cost of his ability needs to be raised to 3 as it is on par with a defensive retreat with out using a card. But of course, i speak from the perspective of the current card pool with out taking into account the other cards in the expansion.

The artwork is very good though looking forward to more, keep it up.

You are spending:

6 to cast the ally, which can be frozen, stasis ed, or retreated, or flat out wiped out.

1 turn to wait, which your opponent could kill the ally.

2 to remove a negative effect.

So the actual cost is about 8, without the chance to use it instantly, and it can be defeated before it is used. Unlike retreat, which is used the turn it's cast.

Plus, you need to wait 7 turns total to use this card's effect.

But i see your point though, it's the same with plasma behemoth. Still, I think a 2 resource dispel all ability is too low for an ally that has a passive ability already. Plasma behemoth only has it's activate ability as it's main strength.

Anyways, this is all speculation on my part and I am fully confident with the play tester's judgement.

However, remove ability is 2. It's conditional upon attachments having been used. And since it says NEGATIVE attachment, i dont think it can be used offensively.

Keep in mind that based on the wording of the card, it negates effects not attachments. Once you have one of these guys on board, Staff of Winter is useless. He could also unfreeze Aeon from Eladwen's ability and possibly "un-disable" poison arrow's effect aside from removing the poison?
