The way I'm reading it, if you play this card, and your opponent casts Fireball at it or your Hero, Fireball will only deal 3 damage instead of 4; likewise, Supernova would only deal 4 damage to each (instead of 5), and so forth with all of the other sources of fire and ice damage. I don't see where your getting the damage reflection from, Danae.

Ice and fire damage to Paladin of Unaxio and your hero is reduced by 1.

It means ice/fire damage to the ally is reduced by 1. (eg 4 becomes 3)
It also means ice/fire damage to your hero is reduced by 1. (eg 4 becomes 3)

It does *not* mean "if your ally takes ice/fire damage your hero loses 1 health" or something like that... Maybe in ESL broken english it might mean that, but not in this case

Niz was referring to the fact that Paladin has a very similar ability to Jericho, but for cheaper. Jericho still has some advantage, however, in that he can remove a Warrior's Enrage.

The card is interesting. I can imagine having 2 of those stacked on the board as an excuse to be a little suicidal.

Ahhh... When I read it this is what I got:

Ice and fire damage to Paladin of Unaxio. And your hero is reduced by 1.

I thought if the ally got damaged by those elements then it would reduce the attacker's health by 1. Something like how Molten Destroyer's ability. Thanks for the clarification.

@Nizaris - Jericho is still useful as he removes effects and attachments. This guy seems to only remove effects (jasmine, poison, ablaze, etc...). Not sure if his ability can also remove crippling blow or captured prey...

This character is like a buffed version of Kurt with sever ties ability. Auto include.
