    Raphael majere's deathrace majiya

I remember this list from right about after the WCs. Was wondering if anyone wanted to discuss:

    4 brut
    4 garg
    4 bad wolf
    4 dmt

    4 fireball
    4 ls
    4 nova

    4 bad santa
    4 sac lamb

    3 lln

So its meant to be fast and reckless, get the opponent down to zero, likely with their foot on the brake the whole time. No portals or 5ccs, no tome of knowledge, to add extra speed. Dangerous and hard to remove 3ccs paired with 8 draw-threes to keep the engine going and the pressure up. Get ally damage in early and follow up with excessive novas and burn for the kill. Use draw-3's to dig for things like nova.

Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
    In a coat of gold, or a coat of red, a lion still has claws;
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.

the lln is meant for Anklebreaker, Spelleater. (by the way, if any ally is hit by Anklebreaker, depending on your needs, you can sac the said ally to sac lamb)

It basically ignores your opponent's draw devices and pretty much the board.

No tome cos tomes can be destroyed.

Also, keep a watch on your own hand, you don't wanna be caught with 6 cards in hand and your opponent does a BS, and you only get 1 card and being deprived of a draw on your incoming turn. You'll want to draw the max 3 cards, and also get the draw.

PS: I used the deck to reach finals of the first ever 1.3 (old name for the current set) test server tourney organized by Bluejet. Lost in finals to a Lance piloted by Rapierlol.

the meta is different now, that's for sure.

I don't play that deck anymore.

Shriek is not a good idea for the concept. Resources are need to do 2 spells a turn.

i really like this deck because you just ignore your opponent completely. it puts up a fight against pretty much everything, and is really versatile. i think it's a great deck for QM.

Have anyone tried this for the current QMs? Been searching for a good QM deck, currently testing Eladwen rush...

Eladwen rush (human ally rush in general) makes much more sense to me. I think human mages are much better at it. Shadows lack powerful weenies.

Thats true unruler. The advantage of mage rush with majiya is in sac lamb, so now you have 8 draw-3s. Rush decks get low on cards and can be inconsistent. So with majiyas ability plus better draw you stay consistent, and can dig for multiple novas easier than with elad.
