RANDOMIZER 4 - The Ultimate Tournament

OK, so here's an epic conclusion of the first Randomizer cycle (Randomizers 1-4).


REQUIREMENTS:


1. You need to have registered on the forums in August 2012 or earlier.
2. You need to be able to meet the tournament's schedule.
3. 40 card decks (hero included) as minimum.
4. Those who had declined an invitation to participate in previous Randomizers will be put on reserve list.


REWARDS:


1. First place wins 1200 SC.
2. Second place gets 700 SC.
3. The tournament is sponsored by Wulven!


RULES:


1. Fairness above all.
2. This is a hero-lock tournament, you are not allowed to change your hero between rounds.
3. Deck-lock for each round.
4. Each hero can be chosen by 1 player only (first come, first serve basis).
5. To apply for the tournament you need to select a hero that you intend to use from the list below (NOTE rule #4).
6. Games are played on the Bo2-5 basis (explained in Details section).
7. Pair-ups for each round will be random (based on the certain principles to be disclosed after the tournament concludes).
8. The first 14 players eligible to participate will join the tournament (the rest will be put on reserve list).
9. The finalists of the previous Randomizers (1-3) are invited to participate with the same heroes they had previously used.

Details on rule # 6:

A. You play 2 games switching turns with your opponent, and if you win both you proceed to the next round.
B. If after the first 2 games you have a score of 1-1, then you play another 2 games - first random start, then switching turns with your opponent, and if you win both you proceed to the next round.
C. Should this result in a score of 2-2, you play the 5th and final game with a random player to go first, and the winner proceeds to the next round.
D. A sync error will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
E. A frozen game will have to be replayed unless a player concedes.
F. If a player is disconnected during a game, the victory goes to the other player unless BOTH players agree to replay or a player concedes.
G. A draw doesn't count and will have to be replayed (with a random player going first for games # 1, 3, 5 and the same player to go 1st for games # 2 & 4).
H. I'll work in this NOT as a permanent checker of all the games, but as an intervention guy. Meaning that I will be a referee, should that be required by one of the participants of the game in question.


SCHEDULE:


1. Deadline for Round 1 - 17th of September.
2. Deadline for Round 2 - 22nd of September.
3. Deadline for Round 3 - 28th of September.
4. Deadline for Semifinals - 2nd of October.
5. Deadline for the Finals - 4th of October.
6. The schedule might be updated (e.g., if everyone finishes their games sooner).
7. Being unable to comply results in replacement by a reserve player in Rounds 1-3 (read the Announcement below for more details) and auto-loss on further stages (unless you have a reeaally good reason for that and PM it to me in good time)!
