Warhammer 40k

Hardly the king But I do have quite the collection, which currently sits at:

2000 points of Space Marines, painted up in 3 different chapters (Two homegrown and the Flesh Tearers)
2500 points of Orks - Evil Sunz and Bad Moons. Plus I have a Skullhamma! (Built out of a Baneblade)
2000 points of Chaos Daemons
1300 points of Chaos Space Marines (About half unpainted)
1 mostly complete scratch built Chaos Warhound Titan.

I shudder to think of the money spent there. But I do love making models

I take it you purchased the Dark Vengeance starter box Nerdom?

Wow thats amazing. Yep. I got the Dark vengeance box. I didn't really want to start with that as I just want to play chaos space marines but the guy in the shop assured me that I could paint up the dark angels as chaos space marines ? so it seemed to make good economic sense. Is this true. Can I do that ?

Certainly can. If you are going to convert them to look chaosy from a lore perspective I would go down the path of making them "The Fallen". In the history of the Dark Angels half of them rebelled during the Horus Heresy, and the resulting war destroyed the Dark Angels home world Caliban. The heretic Dark Angels were scattered through the Warp by the powers of Chaos, and are now hunted relentlessly by their loyalist brethren. Many have turned fully to the Chaos Gods in order to survive.

The actual colour scheme of the Fallen is the same as the Dark Angels, however they will have Chaos markings, spikes etc. Easy conversion and background friendly.

I present my 40k collections, which have been sold off semi recently as i lost interest in the game, I had ben collecting since 2nd ed.


My marines - A chapter in strength (50k points roughly), each battle company is a codex in itself. i could field 3 of every unit in any marine / GK codex, forgot to include some models in the shots mostly deathwatch marines, some other normal bolter guys and some rhinos.







My imperial guard (40k points worth)





custom made stormblade, a throw back to the epic model with deathstrike on turret, and manticore launcher on side


A hive Tyranid who I inducted into the guard as a commissar




My titans - Upscaled Warlord, 3 reavers, 2 warhounds, 3 knight paladins







my Eldar army



Also had every bloodbowl team + the extras made but not in rulebook (Chaos pact etc)


best bit is i made back a fair bit fo what I'd spent as i got alot via warseer forums and such, stripped it and painted it to match my forces. Though All the above is gone, sold it all as fell out of love with the game.

Had other stuff too like starship trooper models and a load of battle tech, their also gone

Holy shit. Your really talented, what shame you've lost interest. Might I ask what you do instead cos there's no way SE could fill that massive gap.

Oh one thing though. In the current Chaos Space Marine codex, squads can't use that Plasma Cannon. So your CSM squad can only be 9 men, not 10.

EDIT: HOLY SHIT DUCE! A chapter of marines? That's 1000 troops + support vehicles. And I see you have the old armorcast warhound and Reaver titans. I'm assuming the Warlord is a scratchbuild.
