Eternal fame and glory goes to Anurak
Isn't this almost strictly worst than Soul Seeker?
To compare the two:
Soul Seeker
Cost: 5
Attack: 2
Durability: 4
Effect: When Soul Seeker kills an enemy, your hero heals 3 health.
Guardian's Oath
Cost: 5
Attack: 1
Durability: 5
Effect: Guardian's Oath has +1 attack while defending.
So if I'm correct, Guardian's Oath's only advantage is having +1 more durability. But in exchange, you lose that ability to do 2 while attacking and you don't get to heal 3 health with a kill. :/
EDIT: Forgot that I could post images, so putting them side by side for easier comparing:
Not to mention, Guardian's Oath has the winceworthy "attack when defending" text. :/
Constructed deck power level should not be a consideration when setting the rarity of a card.
Frustrated by the lack of in-game chat? Talkinate! http://talkinator.com/t8r.jsp?b=ShadowEra
Not as bad as "enemy ally" though.
EDIT: As for the bow comparisons, one's an Epic and one's a Rare. Meh. Besides, not all cards can be Portals(or whatever card you think is the best, I'm just using it because most believe so, not that I do).

Yeah, oath should probably cost one less. Too late (tick tack changes later are bad).
But there should be a beta team for balance issues (besides the open beta server for bug issues)
This is horrible, why would anyone use this.
It's not THAT bad. It's not all that good, but good defensive weapon.
if you use gwenneth truesight for this....do you get double damage which is 1x2 then plus the 1 while defending or 1x2 then plus 1x2 defending?
I thought Gwenneth's ability only worked while she was attacking.
You add first then double. so it will be 2 damage *2 = 4 when defending. While Seeker is reversed, for attacking. I go for attacking because the best defense is a good offense. ^^ And Tang has a good point, no doubling while defending, so it is still 2 damage either way when defending while using either weapon. But my statement of how calculations work still stands.
